DFF-Mod

Description

DFF-Mod filter plants are central coolant treatment systems of modular design. DFF-Mod plants can hold up to 18 filter elements in each filter tank. Filter capacities of 400 to 4,000 lpm are possible depending on the number of filter tanks.

The DFF-Mod series is characterized by the fact that filtration and sludge handling are separated. The water is drained from the cleaned fine sludge either in a separate sludge tank with an integrated scraper conveyor or by means of a centrifuge.

DFF-Mod plants are delivered as ready for connection systems. They consist of the following main components:

  • Filter tank modules with filter elements
  • Filtration pumps, back-rinsing pumps
  • Filtrate pump station, frequency-controlled
  • Central clean tank for supplying the machining units
  • Scraper conveyor for automatic sludge discharge
  • Cooling for a constant coolant temperature
  • Plant control system which ensures fully automatic operation

Benefits

DFF-Mod is a filter system that grows as production grows and makes it possible to achieve very high plant availability. Changing over from emulsion to oil and vice versa is possible without any restrictions. There is no need therefore to decide on the type of coolant in advance when investing in new machining units. With a separate clean tank system it is possible to use both emulsion and oil coolant in parallel.

Specifics

  • Scalable capacity range
  • Very high plant availability
  • Remote maintenance service on request
  • Automatic sludge discharge by scraper conveyor and further concentration of the sludge by a centrifuge and briqueting plant
