At Herding, the concept of "WE" is an inclusive term which extends to the workforce. Herding ist known as a company which is fully committed to its social responsibilities.
Without our employees, we would not be a viable business entity. We need brain power to come up with innovative solutions for our customers. With this in mind, we provide continuous training to employees throughout the company. To ensure that we have the brain power which we will need in the future, we invest in vocational training and in partnerships with universities in the region. We encourage all of our employees to be flexible and act responsibly on their own initiative and to share in the company’s success.
There are a number of indications that we have gotten things right. The workforce has continually expanded from 2 in 1977 to aprox. 450 in 2019. We have an above-average vocational training quota. Our employees actively participate in improvement programs and internal events, and many of them have been with us for a long time.
